May 30th, 2009 | by Nate Bruce |78 Days til the Jaguars 1st Preseason game against the Miami Dolphins and Im already ready to go. Jax should have an improved offensive line with their 1st 2 Draft Picks with OT Eugene Monroe and OT Eben Britton. With no more Fred Taylor, Maurice Jones-Drew gets a lot of carries and will be the best playmaker on the field. Jags made a great offseason acquisition in veteran Tory Holt who should lead the small, inexperienced WR Corps to balance the offense. The starting QB job is still Garrard but the team signed veteran Todd Bouman to helo backup Cleo Lemon improve his game.
Jags defense has to improve especially against the pass where they ranked 24th in the NFL giving up 224 yards a game.
