Good Rebound game vs Rams
October 13th, 2009 | by Nate Bruce |The Jags return home after now showing up last Sunday against the Seahawks. Look for another blackout game this game as the Jags host the win less Rams this Sunday. This will be a great rebound game for the Jags as the Rams enter the game with the NFL’s worst offense scoring only 6.8 points per game. They also have the 31st worst defense in the league giving up over 29.2 points per game.
The only threat that I think that can hurt the Jags is the speed of RB Steven Jackson. Jackson has had a slow year, as has the rest of the team, running for only 400 yards for the entire season. Jackson, a usually high Fantasy pick, hasnt had a chance to show up this year. QB Marc Bulger will return to the starting lineup but he doesn’t have any big play WR’s in Donnie Avery and Lauren Robinson.
Holt vs old team:
This could be the best chance of the year for Torry Holt. Holt played for the Rams for every game of his career before this season. He practiced everyday against that secondary so you know he has been telling Coach Del Rio and Garrard about their weaknesses and getting ready to exploit them. If you have him on your fantasy team, either start him or consider starting him because he will go off.

It’s funny, I think we’re looking at this Jaguars game, after that woeful performance against our NFC West brethren, as maybe our best chance for a win before the bye. (Lord knows it’s not going to come against the Colts.) I agree the Torry Holt factor might be a big one. But to get that win, we’re going to have to stop making stupid mistakes, shooting ourselves in the foot.
