Jags/Jets Game Prediction
November 14th, 2009 | by Nate Bruce |This game will be a close scoring game that may be won in the trenches but come down to the Kickers. Sanchez and Garrard are both good QB’s but neither of them put up big enough passing numbers to be game changers. Sanchez is still getting used to playing on Sundays and he doesnt have Pete Carroll to save him while Garrard has a six TD to five Int ratio and a 81.8 QB rating. Whichever Jones has the bigger game carrying the ball will get his team the victory because both defenses will be focusing on the other Jones.
The Special teams play will determine the winner because this game will be pretty even. Josh Scobee has made 9 0f 14 FG attempts while Jay Feely has connected on 13 of 15 attempts. The Jets Kick defense is very vulnerable after giving up two return TD’s to Miami’s Ted Ginn Jr in their last game which ended up being the deciding factor. Look for the Jags to attack on special teams in order to quiet the Meadowlanders and put the offense in better field position.
Close game but Jones-Drew will be able to outshine Thomas Jones and lead the Jags to a much needed road win. Jags win in a low scoring game 20-17
