Jags Defense vs Bills Defense

The Jags Defense gets a well deserve respete this week as the Bills offense comes to Jville.  The secondary stepped up big last game against Mark Sanchez and now they get to face the 29th ranked passing offense. Yes, the Bills do have Terrell Owens but he has been nothing short of ineffective in his first year on the team. The Bills top two RB’s, Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch, have 747 combined rushing yards and only 1 TD while Jones-Drew has 860 yards by himself and 12 TD’s. The Jags will be without Rashean Mathis but look for the Jags to stuff the line and be able to get pressure and dominate the line of scrimmage and get some sacks.

The biggest weakness for the Bills defense is the run. They are dead last in the NFL against the run giving up 173 yards per game. Now we know that Jones-Drew is one of the best RB’s in the league but he will have a field day getting at least 25-30 carries against the Bills front line. The Bills will attempt to stack the line and make Garrard throw down the field which he has improved his passing the past couple of weeks. For Fantasy owners, start MoJo and Mike Sims-Walker and Garrard if you need a QB because he will be able to scramble and make plays down the field. Mike Sims-Walker has shown to be the best WR on the  team and showing that fight to get into the endzone and finish drives.

If you are in the Jacksonville area and plan on watching the game on local TV, you might just want to go to the game. This game is going to be blacked out due to NFL ticket sales and not even TO will bring a lot of extra people to the game enough to pass the ticket number. Its annoying after a win against a tough team on the road to not be able to watch the game, but the team still needs to fight hard for their playoff chances. So, if you can, SHOW UP AND SUPPORT THE TEAM. THEY NEED IT.
