Sims-Walker keeps the streak alive

See full size imageMike Sims-Walker refused to lose this game in the 4th quarter being the go to guy on the Jags game winning drive against the Bills 18-15. The Bills worst ranked defense didnt play that way as they held Jones-Drew to 66 yards rushing on 25 carries and 1 TD. But Sims-Walker had eight catches for 91 yards and 1 TD and also set up Jones-Drew’s TD. Great game Mike because you, Mike Thomas, and Marcedes Lewis are the best receivers on the team and you keep the defense . Garrard, after a fumble on the previous drive, executed a nice drive and used great feet to get the offense into the red zone and finish off a 12 play 68 yard drivef for the victory. He needs to make better decisions scrambling and remember he’s not a QB and protect the ball better and the offense will keep moving on.

Terrell Owens of course played his best game of the year against Jacksonville. He had nine catches for 197 yards and 1 98 yard TD against man coverage who got burned on a streak route. Yes, Rashean Mathis did not play again because of injury but that is pathetic. The defense has to step up and get the offense back the ball and the secondary has to learn how to catch. Way too many times did the linebackers and corners drop clear interceptions that hit them right in the hands. OLB Darryl Smith had a crossing route thrown from Ryan Fitzpatrick hit him right in the numbers and Smith dropped it in the 4th quarter. I guess the team has a drop passed policy because right after the play, Smith did ten pushups in the middle of the field. If I was the coach he runs about ten miles or gets laid out by the Safeties in practice and that will make him catch the ball next time.
